Ruthie Singleton MHA, BSN, BS, RN is the Chief Executive Officer and President of three unique educational and healthcare organizations based in Chicago, Illinois. These include Singleton Education Academy, Inc. (a nonprofit organization), Singleton Healthcare & Education Services (a for-profit entity), and Singleton Education Academy of Music and Dance, Inc. (a for-profit entity). Each organization operates with a shared commitment to excellence and community service. Singleton Education Academy, Inc. was founded in October 2017, followed by the establishment of Singleton Healthcare & Education Services, Inc. in May 2019, and Singleton Education Academy of Music and Dance, Inc. in 2022.

With an impressive 29-year career in healthcare that began in 1995 as a Registered Nurse, Ruthie Singleton exemplifies dedication and expertise. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Service Administration from National Louis University, two Bachelor’s degrees—one in Healthcare & Leadership Management and another in Nursing from Elmhurst College—and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Malcolm X College.

As an accomplished educator, Ruthie Singleton excels in training and mentorship. Her teaching expertise includes a wide range of courses, such as Certified Basic Nursing Assistant, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support/CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation, Heartsaver Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, Opioid and Naloxone education, and Crisis Prevention Intervention De-escalation Behavioral presentations.

In addition to her instructional roles, Ruthie Singleton provides certifications for healthcare professionals—including doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses—as well as non-healthcare individuals, such as daycare staff and nonprofit organizations, in various life-saving techniques.

Ruthie Singleton also holds credentials as a licensed Insurance Producer and a Public Notary, further expanding her professional repertoire.

Beyond her impressive career in healthcare and education, Ruthie Singleton has a deep passion for music and dance. She studied piano under Donald A. Singleton, Sr. from 2010 to 2015, participated as a member of the Allegro Metro Mass Choir, and joined the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) from 2011 to 2016. Earlier in her life, from 1996 to 1998, she showcased her talent as a dancer with the Amani Dance Group, under the direction of Debra Richards, and even performed at the iconic Apollo Theater.
